Grove Ladder Farm is a 12-acre, pasture-based livestock farm serving Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto Counties. The farm raises 1,000 laying hens with fresh flocks started every six months for year-round eggs, along with Florida Cracker sheep and cattle—critically endangered heritage breeds that provide ethically raised beef, lamb, and wool. With a focus on rotational grazing, animals are raised on open pastures with species-appropriate diets, supported by movable fencing and Great Pyrenees guardian dogs for protection.
