Kilgus Farmstead is a multi generational, independent family business farming the same land in central Illinois for decades. The farm transitioned to dairy in the 1950s and now focuses on Jersey cows for an on farm creamery, producing bottled milk and a line of farmstead meats including goat, steer, and pork. Four families currently work together to produce, market, and distribute their dairy and meat products.
