Lovers Retreat Farm is a licensed Grade A Dairy located on the Middle Peninsula of eastern Virginia. Specializing in purebred and percentage dairy goats, the farm raises Saneens, Alpines, Nubians, and LaManchas on pastures free of pesticides and herbicides. The farm produces fine farmstead goat cheeses, including chevre, feta, and flavored cheeses, from fresh, hormone and antibiotic free milk. They also offer goat milk soap and brown eggs from free-range hens, ducks, and geese, and contribute to the local environment by hatching and releasing Mallard ducklings.
