Trumpeter Swan Farm is owned and operated by the Hannay and Kubal families, including Phil, Kathy, Ian, and Angie. The family and local employees plant, grow, and harvest everything on the farm to ensure the highest freshness and quality. The farm is bee, butterfly, and insect friendly, maintaining a balance of beneficial and nonbeneficial creatures, and has prairie and woody areas for diverse habitat. They utilize simple biological practices such as cover crops, compost, and limited tilling, and restrict any necessary herbicides or pesticides to safe, biodegradable options.
